CRRA invites you to join us on Sunday 11th October 2020 for a socially-distanced community 'Reclaim our Public Pathway' event.

We are inviting people to come equipped with their own gardening gloves ready to claim back a foot or so of our public footway from the corner of Woolhampton Way to All Saints Church.  Please also wear face masks - we will provide hand-sanitizer.

If you have a set of shears, electric trimmers or any other gardening tools which you feel may help, please bring them with you.

Since, we reported the excessive bush growth on Romford Road, last week have been contacted by a local resident, who confirmed that the bushes are on land in ownership of houses backing onto Romford Road.

We are pleased to see that already there has been a trimming of the bushes which has made the walk much safer and we submit our thanks to whoever did that.

However, we would like to trim the bushes back a bit further to widen the pathway and to enhance visibility for drivers exiting the road.

Please come and join us and receive some free drinks and snacks.

Event:          Reclaim Our Public Pathway

Date:            Sunday 11th October 2020

Time:           11am

Location:     Corner of Woolhampton Way

Once we have trimmed back the hedges CRRA will be challenging Epping Forest District Council to improve their street-cleaning in the vicinity as often bottles and other detritus have been found in the bushes.
